Renewal reminders arrive before each expected renewal — 1 day ahead by default, or the lead time you choose for each subscription (this sample uses 3 days). Like Trial Guard, they are scheduled on your phone. Bank-powered alerts are separate: Pro, optional, and sent as push notifications when a change is detected.

You can disconnect each bank anytime in Settings: that asks Plaid to revoke SubForge’s access and removes that bank’s connection data, while subscriptions you already added stay in your list.
No. The note on this page is a joke about how most of us track subscriptions today. Your list only holds what you add, what you import and tick, and the bank suggestions you accept. With Pro and an optional connected bank, SubForge receives read-only recurring-charge information through Plaid to make those suggestions — never your bank login.
Totals are estimates: the price you saved × the billing cycle, not a sum of bank debits. Renewal dates are expected dates, not guaranteed debit timing. The app tracks amounts in USD and doesn’t convert currencies.
No. With Pro, detection depends on data reported through Plaid and can miss or delay changes, and very small price changes are filtered as noise. Manual and imported entries are not bank-monitored. A bank connection only covers the accounts you connect: charges billed through Apple, Google, PayPal or Amazon can appear under those names, and new, irregular or annual subscriptions may need a billing cycle to show up — a screenshot or statement import fills those gaps. Alerts are signals to review, not a payment ledger.
Screenshots are read on your device with Apple’s on-device recognition, and PDF or CSV files are parsed on your device; none of them are uploaded or stored. SubForge shows best-guess candidates, and only the ones you tick are added — those are saved to your SubForge account and synced across your devices. Imported entries count toward the Free limit of 5.

No. Deleting your SubForge account starts a background cleanup of your cloud data. It does not cancel a Pro subscription — cancel that in App Store settings — and SubForge cannot cancel subscriptions with other providers. Account-deletion help is on the support page.
